National Council On Bible Curriculum In Public Schools Bible Course (Elective)

It's Coming Back...and it's our constitutional right! A program is underway to serve the community by bringing a state certified Bible course (elective) into the public schools nationwide.

This course is appropriate for both middle and high school students. 92% of all school boards that have been approached about this Bible course curriculum nationwide have voted to put it in. This course has been voted into school districts in thirty-five states, to date.

The objectives for this course include the following:
  • To equip the student with a fundamental understanding of the important literary forms contained in the Bible as well as people and symbols often referred to in literature, art, and music.
  • To equip the student with a fundamental understanding of the influence of the Bible on history, law, American community life, and culture.
  • To give insight into the world views of America's founding fathers and to understand the Biblical influences on their views on human rights.
  • To provide a greater knowledge of Middle-Eastern history, geography, religion and politics.
  • To inform the students of the importance of religion in world and national history, without imposing the doctrine of any particular religious sect.

This will fully comply with the U.S. Constitution and provide a unique and valuable service to the community.

You can contact Rochelle at form@rochellearnold.com for more information.Thank you for supporting a Bible-based course elective in our public schools.

BOOK REVIEW

Sojourners: In a Strange Land By Rochelle Arnold (New Review)

Christian Review of Books By Irene Grove

"A sojourner is one who resides as a foreigner or stranger in an unknown land" So starts this book about our journery here on earth as Christians. The author does a great job describing how we should be different then the world we live in. There are ample Scripture references to back up what she points out. The personal examples from her life are filled with God's grace and love. There are current events used to help clarify the principles she teaches. The best parts of the book are the explanations and definitions of different Bible verses, words or events. You come away feeling you better understand every Scripture she refers to.

The book explains well how we are all on our own journey and yet all trying to get to the same place. You realize we need to be better examples to those around us. It is our job as Christians to spread the news about Christ. God wants to use us and we need to be ready. We do this by living how our examples in the Bible lived.

This book makes you feel like you have a purpose here on earth. You also better understand the many different ways we can help influence the world around us and lead them to Christ.
